Melissa Sandora discovered her passion when she was old enough to paint and draw. She developed a strong appreciation for art and beauty early on. Studying drawings and photographs, she would spend hours trying to recreate the image in her own work. It wasn't until she reached her teens and discovered fashion magazines that she realized she could do the same with makeup. Dividing her time between Cosmetology School and Commercial Art at seventeen, she achieved certificates in both courses.
Continuing her education in 1997 at the Joe Blasco Makeup Center in Orlando, Melissa specialized in makeup for television and film. It was then she became well rounded as a makeup artist, refining her skills in sculpting, special effects and prosthetic design.
Now, as an established industry makeup artist, Melissa continues to work in all genres from celebrities, editorial, television, film, commercial and music videos. Her freelancing has taken her all over the U.S., as well as internationally to the Dominican Republic, Antigua, Belize, Barbados and Monte Carlo.
Melissa is a licensed Cosmetologist, licensed Aesthetician, certified Makeup Artist, and a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 706.
Although she resides in Southern California, she is available for travel worldwide.
